La Femme Blushes

FTC: I purchased all products reviewed in this blog post with my own money and for my own personal use. Any opinions expressed herein are my own honest opinions.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's get down to the nitty gritty.

The Good: La Femme blushes are the truth! These babies are everything that a woman could ask for. They are pigmented, smooth, blendable, and CHEAP! Over on Makeup Mania, these blushes cost $2.50 for the blush pans that fit into palettes and $3.00 for the blush in regular packaging. They are a little bit smaller than a MAC blush (MAC blushes are 0.21oz, La Femme blushes are 0.14 oz), but the quality is comparable. They come in a variety of colors. I purchased 12 colors. The colors that I purchased are: Coral, Framboesia, Golden Rose, Grape, Golden Ruby, Mulberry, Orange, Peach, Peach Sparkle, Red, Sienna, and Terracotta. I haven't used all of them on my face, but I loved the way that they looked against my NC45 skin when I swatched them.

The Bad: These blushes are somewhat hard to find. I only saw two different websites that sell them, and one of them I could not find reviews for. They sell them on Ebay, however, they are overpriced on there ($4.25 as opposed to $3.00). For these reasons, I decided to go with Makeup Mania despite the fact that they had mixed reviews.

The Ugly: While Makeup Mania has the largest selection and best prices on La Femme blushes, they are soooooooooooooooooo slow. I ordered these blushes on February 18 and did not receive them until March 10. Yes, that's three weeks. I did read reviews for the website so I knew that they were exceptionally slow so that made the wait a little easier. I did check in with them twice to find out what was going on with my order and the customer service associates were awesome. They updated me and they let me know that a couple of the blushes I wanted were not in stock. They offered to either do a partial ship so that I could get the blushes they had in stock now and wait for the two that they did not have, or to replace those blushes with two others. Apparently, they are out of stock on blushes quite often judging from the other reviews that I have read online. That was a bit annoying, as I feel that they should update their site to reflect the current stock, however their amazing customer service reps more than made up for that.

Nesh Says: These blushes were totally worth the wait. These are the best non-MAC blushes that I have ever owned. The price absolutely cannot be beat. I ordered 12 of the blushes in regular packaging at $3.00 each for a total of $36.00. I paid $7.95 for shipping for a grand total of $43.95. I would get two MAC blushes for that much. I definitely recommend these blushes and Makeupmania.com, but be prepared to wait for them to ship your order and don't be shy about contacting them. See swatches of the blushes after the jump!
